Ethics Program

Shortly before his death, Curt contacted college officials at LCCC and the University of Wyoming.  He envisioned an ethics program that would reach students who would soon be entering the world of work.  Through the work and dedication of both these institutes, ethics education has become a critical component to the curriculum in many core college disciplines.

The Curt Kaiser Memorial Ethics fund at LCCC was created through gifts from the Kaiser Foundation, and several of Curt's friends and business associates.  An on campus ethics program, faculty resource library, and workshops for learning to integrate ethics in the curriculum are now a reality.  LCCC's Executive Director of Development says, "Curt's memory will live on and will help to shape the ethical behavior of a new generation of students."

With the leadership of project directors from the University of Wyoming and Laramie County Community College, ethics education is a top priority.  Speakers, workshops, advisory council, and project meetings have led to ethic standards being taught in several college classrooms.
